Boulder Valmont City Park

Valmont City Park is a 40 acre mountain bike park that set the standard of excellence in Municipal Mountain Bike Parks when it was constructed in 2012. J-2 Contracting was the General Contractor for the construction of this premier facility. Major construction items included 42,000 CY of earthwork, 5 miles of cross county, slopestyle, and dual slalom bike trails, construction of concrete trails and plazas, site utilities, a restroom facility, playground, parking facilities, 5 acre dog park, multiple shelters, 7 precast concrete girder bridges, selective demolition and rehabilitation of 30,000 SF metal building, and relocation/remodel and preservation of the historic Valmont Farmhouse.
