Fort Collins Downtown Alleys

The Fort Collins Downtown Alley Renovations program aims to revitalize and enhance key alleyways in the heart of downtown Fort Collins. The alley masterplan, created in 2008, sought to transform these underutilized spaces into functional, visually appealing areas that encourage foot traffic, improve public safety, and provide connectivity through the greater downtown area.

J-2 Contracting has sustained a partnership with the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority over the last 15 years serving as the general contractor and construction manager for nine alley renovations. J-2 works alongside the project team during the design phase to provide budgetary cost estimates, constructability reviews, material selection recommendations, and phasing plans. The alley projects include installation of new precast paver systems, improved drainage, and updated lighting. Each project features custom and engaging installations unique to each alley.
