Vendor Hazard Awareness Training

Employees – Poudre Ponds Pit

J-2 requires Site Specific Training per MSHA CFR Part 46 for all persons prior to entering the pit. Please note that all visitors must check-in at the scale house to receive training. All visitors must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all time while in the gravel pit.

Employees on this property are subject to the requirements of the Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977, as well as any Company Safety procedures. Employees must be made aware of site-specific hazards and any applicable safety procedures or rules. High Visibility vests are required at all times. Passenger vehicles are allowed in the designated parking areas. During your time on our property, observe all rules and regulations, including speed limits, and carefully follow all verbal instructions given by plant management or other authorized personnel. Immediately report to the plant supervisory personnel any unlisted hazard you may encounter. Failure to adhere to these requirements may constitute dismissal of employment, and you may be denied future access into the facilities. Please feel free to discuss any rule, or gain clarification about any matter of safety with the pit supervisor. (30 CFR Part 46 Section 46.11)
